"My favorite restaurant in Palmetto! Valentino did such a wonderful job renovating the space, it’s absolutely beautiful, warm, inviting and modern. The staff is kind and everyone worked so hard to accommodate a bustling and hungry crowd! So let’s get to the food- steamed clams were such a welcome classic, I followed them with the seaweed salad and sashimi. What a neat combination of classic seafood shack meets upscale Japanese. My husband had the red fish- it was beautifully and artistically plated. Great hearty portion size and so very delicious, seasoned with garlic and white wine, perfect light fare for a warm Florida evening. There were so many wonderful things on the menu I’m dying to try, we’ll be back and back and back I’m sure."

"Sitting in drive-thru line horrible wait...good choice of dedicating one of the drive thru lines to app and delivery and it 's empty. Haven 't tried you guys in a while and I 'm starting to regret."

"Can't comment on the food because we never got any. Sat down, ordered coffee, the waiter brought the coffee and we told him to give us a few minutes to decide. That was the end. He then proceeded to ignore us for 25 minutes, walking by several times and not even looking at us so we could get his attention. We then went to the greeter and said we were leaving. The greeter ran and got the waiter, so of course we were expecting an apology, Nope, the waiter came with his machine and informed us that it was $13 for the two plain coffees. Avoid this place, Hilton Head has plenty of choices! Update: manager responded and offered to reimburse credit card. We paid cash, so that won't work. The response is appreciated though. We were down there from Canada for the graduation of our son from USCB, so it is unlikely we will be back in SC anytime soon. (fyi, our server was the guy with the mini ponytail). Once again, thank you for replying and for your offer."

"While on vacation in the area, Happy Soul was one of our first stops! The owner was an absolute treasure to talk with while our order was being prepared. Don't let the façade fool you; this is no fast food joint and the food is AMAZING! It tasted like home cooking and the flavors were so, so good. We had empanadas, Cuban and Philly sandwiches, Butterfly Lemonade, and the desserts of the day all of which were delicious! We will definitely be stopping during our next vacation."
