"I absolutely love Motherland. The vibe is as amazing as the coffee. My standard order is a tall hazelnut flavoured soy milk latte and it always tastes like heaven. They also have an amazingly decadent brownie with white and milk chocolate pieces which is a definite must-have. The service is world class and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful."

"Sugar addicts rejoice If you have a serious sweet tooth then this is the place for you. Crumbs Cream is a sweet little dessert store where you can order ice cream, cookies, coffee, ice cream on cookies or waffles, spreads, sprinkles and sauces. Anything and everything for the sugar addict inside you. They also have sugar free and gluten free options if you are one of those. The food, well desserts are great. Many different options for cookies, from rainbow to milk tart, with choc chip in between, they have it all. Then you get quite a few different ice creams to choose from too, french vanilla, salted caramel and even cookie monster. Now that is a winner. Now add toppings, spreads and sauces, sooo much sugar. Service was fantastic. We walked in and had no idea how anything worked. Immediately we were helped and given testers so we can make the perfect choice. All the patrons were very friendly and didn't mind answering any of our questions. Atmosphere was quite interesting. Everything was so colourful and petite. Looked like a little playground. I can just imagine being a kid again and feeling right at home here. We do feel like they are a tad expensive. 2 ice cream sandwiches with no extras and 2 coffees for R130 is pushing it a bit. "Everything I could have asked for of a pre-birthday destination with my love. We sat on the terrace, very European feel to it : bustling, lively, noisy without being intrusive. Food was delicious, so many options to choose from, and we had a JHB prepared wine to boot. wait staff were attentive . all in all a great evening. Well be back for a brunch and or a lunch in the near future"

"Nice small cafe. Only go for the coffee in a cone. Unique. The tea was lovely. The place is quite small but there is a seating area outside in the lovely Melrose Arch streets."

"Small restaurant set in the courtyard of an apartment building. Not the best ambience as some of the seats are in the parking lot however the food more than makes up for it. The mushroom risotto is delicious and not too stodgy as some risottos can be. It’s also packed with mushrooms. The chocolate mousse is a generous portion and is light and airy. Perfect end to a heavy dinner."

"We really felt like Chinese food with a good atmosphere. And Momo Soko was really that, we had the bowls and it was value for money and really tasty. The atmosphere was lively and comfortable at the same time. The staff was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back again."
