"This is a real tourist trap, I wanted to like it but meh. The positives were the jalapeño poppers and the combination picante was good value for the price. Negatives plastic table cover and plastic cutlery cheapens the ambience, give people proper silverware. I would avoid the trout with almond and stick to Mexican food. The trout had soggy skin and the flavor combinations wasn?t hitting any home runs for me. It wasn?t completely terrible but I would not return nor recommend a trip out of your way."

"4 of us ate At Il Piatto at 5pm on Friday Feb. 29th. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable but the food took BBC a long time to come. We ordered some desserts and waited and waited finally we gad to leave to go to a show so at 6:55 we told our waiter wf had a problem. He suggested they could pack our desserts to go. We said yes and then we left. On Sunday we got the bag out of the fridg and there was only 3 desserts!!!! They all were about 2 tablespoons. I know during restaurant week the desserts are smaller but this was ridiculous. Something was not right in the kitchen that evening!!!! We usually live your place but now I am not sure if we will go back which is too bad but thus was very weird!"

"Wonderful dinner. The olive and bread appetizers were fantastic. The oysters we good but not to the cost, but we are from Louisiana so possibly spoiled there. The Catie's BBQ, half spring chicken and crab cakes were all excellent. The ribeye and steak were ok but wouldn't get them again at that restaurant vs the other entrees that wow'd us. Dessert was also excellent across the board with molten chocolate, key lime and s'mores that were all devoured in short order. Overall, if this were a review as judged against other $300-400 restaurants I'd beat them up a little more on that ribeye but against the general population of places this is certainly a 5 star affair."
