"Absolutely Love Soul Brain Vegan Chocolates! John the owner is super friendly and loves what he does. I love how he also uses ethically related cocoa. The flavors are great and hard not to eat the whole bar at once! I ordered for pickup and bought from the farm market. It is great with several options. Support small shops and take some chocolate!"

"We really enjoyed our dinner here! There was a bit of a wait for dinner seating, but a 15 minute wait on a Friday night is reasonable and we enjoyed looking at the photos and memorabilia while we waited. The restaurant has done an admirable job of integrating plastic dividers between booths into the decor. There was no outside seating available and in fact it appeared that the tent visible outside had a technical malfunction, as part of it was on the ground. The menu is quite hefty and full of standard diner fare, but we were quite pleased at the reasonable prices $5.69 for a burger, for example). My husband ordered the Western bacon BBQ burger with a side order of garlic fries which I stole half of they were AMAZING). He said the burger was good. With a nice nice smoky disable and the bacon added a salty touch. It could benefit from the addition of grilled onions. I had the Alaskan Cod sandwich, comma which was delicious especially with the coleslaw on it. I also ordered a side of coleslaw, which was crunchy and fresh. Both of us ordered milkshakes. My husband got the Elvis, which was a deliciously interesting mix of peanut butter and banana. I had the mint chocolate chip, which honestly wasn't anything special. It was the only ho hum dish of the meal. Next time we visit, we want to try breakfast!"

"The Flying Yolk is a small but ramped up breakfast spot in the heart of Simi Valley. If you are looking for an independent, non-commercial type of place to enjoy a satisfying breakfast, this is the spot. They have many breakfast options to go with no matter how big an appetite you are carrying with you. The Dani Burger is a favorite of many. I usually go with the protein bowl myself. If you don't desire to eat in, they also do take out and delivery if so desired. The Yolk is definitely worth the price Of admission."

"If you’re looking for some really good food at a very affordable price Fire Island Grill in Simi Valley is it. The food here is always fresh and delicious. I recommend the Fire Island Bowl with Char-Grilled Chicken, sautéed veggies, half Island Rice and half Island Noodles. My favorite sauce is the Lava Flow Peanut, but if your not into spicy go with Pineapple Teriyaki. The Pineapple Chicken Sandwich is also very good."
