"The wish of my 9-year-old daughter for our April holiday was a tea party with Earl Grey tea, chic tie plates filled with delicious tea sandwiches, scones and delicious pastries. We also needed a place where our 14-year-old son would feel comfortable. And we needed a vegetarian and vegan friendly menu. I thought that was a great order, but the wonderful, courteous and friendly staff in the beautiful Captain Farris Tea House surpassed all our hopes. We all enjoyed the deliciously prepared kitchen, the beautiful room and the tea/high chocolate. It was really a highlight in our weekly Cape trip. Staff even recommended a vegan restaurant in Brewster (Fare and Just Kitchen). My daughter felt like they didn't treat her like a little kid who appreciated her and we all went away with a wonderful moment to remember. So grateful for the beautiful people in the Captain Farris Tea House"

"We try a lot of ice cream and Cape Cod Creamery is a favorite on top of our list! The ice cream itself is creamy and flavorful and the flavor names referencing towns of the cape are a great touch. We love sitting on the porch or on the lawn in the Adirondack chairs enjoying the summer breeze and savoring vacation!"

"The Skipper is seriously delicious, can't make it any plainer than that. We happened to be nearby, the Whydah Museum, and decided to check it out. So glad we did. Started off with a cup of their deservedly three time award winning chowder. Quite possibly the best I've ever had, it's so super rich and full of clams. For entree, my partner and I shared the Fisherman's Platter because it's huge. It also happens to be really frickin' delicious. Seafood is very fresh, has good breading, and is fried perfectly. We chose the house made kettle chips instead of fries and they were tasty as well. Lastly, on the way out, we stopped at the ice cream stand. I got the sea salt caramel, was good not great but the portion was huge so I still walked away happy. Partner got chocolate which was the better of the two. Almost forgot to mention, waiter was very nice and attentive. All of the above adds up to in my book."

"My friend had never tried a legit calzone. And so we ordered from Carluccio's, and while the dough of the calzone was absolutely dirty, there was no doll of Ricotta found anywhere in the cheese calzone. So that was easy to disappoint. But if her calzone tasted that good even without the ricotta, I think her pizza game is off-the-hook! The Cannoli are perfect! Smooth, creamy filling, crispy, fresh outer shell, and we got a choice whether we prefer chocolate chips on them, which was an additional bonus. My mother, who is more than me and who is an excellent baker, has dug the best Cannoli in Cape Cod."

"I used to love Dairy Queen, but since becoming vegan I haven't been back. It's been a long time. I was so happy to see they had a dairy free option! Hoping they expand those options in the future. A dairy free blizzard would be super exciting!"

"Treated my kids to some delicious gelato and myself to an affogato. So good!! I was thrilled to see sorbetto on the menu and also a flavor with an oat milk base for the non-dairy folks (like me). It was lovely chatting with the sweet owners and their cafe is adorable. We will be back!!"

"What's Happened to this bakery? Stopped by on Sunday for some cinnamon buns and was surprised at how sparse the inventory was. Cases used to be filled with all sorts of breads and other good stuff. Have not seen Carie (the owner) there in quite some time. Was such a disappointing visit and time to find another bakery."

"Nice staff I would go again for beer and appetizers but not dinner. The “dining room” was closed in and cut off with painfully uncomfortable uneven chairs. Food was ok but not great. Staff worked hard to please and were appreciated. Beware that if you use OpenTable (this app) they did NOT give us credit for dining and our reservation."
