"I thought this was going to be a whatever kind of pub but was nicely surprised with one of the best meals that I have had in a long time! Parmesan chicken with fettucine.. it was to die for! I would definitely come back! My only concern, and I feel bad for mentioning it was I got a bit sick after and this food was the only reason I could come up with which is a shame because it was so good. I am hoping that it didn't have anything to do with them and that if it did, they will handle their food better in the future."

"Restaurants that specialize in local cuisine have always been hit and miss for me and the Bruce Wine Bar was pretty much like that. My friend had the daily soup, which involved mushrooms and was very tasty, and she had an apple and Brussels...salad which she could not finish. I had the Polena fries which were astounding but a bit on the small side for the price, and the Squash and Apple pizza. That pizza was better as a concept than it was in execution. The crust was perfect, but the toppings didn't seem to have any relationship with the crust. It would have worked just as well as a bowl of fruit and pesto with a side order of crust. It was a very messy experience. Tasty but not sure I would order it again. The decor and ambience, and service, were excellent. I was driving, and my friend wanted to order wine, but the cheapest wines were $15 a glass which is a bit of a markup. I'm glad I went and I would give them another try. But this is high end food, don't expect anything else."

"Negative 5 star We came from the most city in the world and i can tell for $123 USD, you can get a michelin star meal for two in a REAL restaurant in Manhattan. The lobster linguini was laughable, my non-Caucasian mother can make a better tomato sauce than them. The Brussel sprouts were in syrup and mayo The chef must be so busy tik toking that they didn't even bother chop up the squid"
