"My new favorite place! Glad we took the advice of one reviewer that said Banning’s is modern, updated and clean. It definitely felt more upscale than we expected. The food and service here are amazing and it is no ordinary American fare restaurant. The hubby and I ordered from the “Fall Specials” menu. We were looking for something lighter than the standard bacon and eggs and decided to split the vegan breakfast burrito and regular breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and came with a nice fruit cup of melons and grapes. Neither of us are vegan, but the menu description of the vegan burrito being so flavorful that you wouldn’t miss the meat was spot on. We couldn’t leave without trying pie so we took a coconut cream pie slice home and wished we had just gotten the whole pie and more! Home made deliciousness! Can’t forget to mention that the staff was equally impressive as the food. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait and observed the staff interacting with customers and each other. In such a busy, high pressure environment its understandably easy to be annoyed, short and angry, but everyone there seemed to want to be there. They cared, were courteous to each other and the customers. This is a complete gem of a place and I can’t wait to go back in the years to come. Parking: There is an over flow parking lot so don’t be discouraged when you drive through the main entrance and see it full."

"The girl taking orders in the line decided she didn’t want to move and impatiently tells me to pull up as if I wasn’t already. Is incredibly short with me then proceeds to walk back to the car behind me who is where I was when she needed me to pull up. This girl needs training BAD. Two stars because the women making the coffees were much more pleasant."

"Peet has a good selection. We prefer it above Starbucks, but not as good as some mom-amd-pop shops around. Staff is nice and food is reasonably quick. There is not a drive through."

"Came here to celebrate two birthdays. ordered chicken pillows thai and garnel dumplings. all tasted good. the prices are reasonable. service was great. some wein is a bit expensive, saw a bottle on the list for 30$, which costs 10$ in a grocery store."

"Old school family dining. Stopped in here for the first time in years... nothing has changed... thankfully! Huge portions of really really good home cookin'. The Lower Boone's Ferry Benedict starts with a base of tender biscuits.. topped with a hand formed breakfast sausage pattie that covered both biscuits and then some... scrambled eggs and then drown the whole thing in country gravy. Accompanied by a huge portion of grilled red potato's and onion. I'm a big boy... 6'6' and I can eat son. I finished exactly HALF of this monster breakfast!<br/>My sainted mother had the french dip which did not stoop to the usual deli sliced meat... oh no buddy, it was loaded with shredded pot roast! Excellent flavorful real deal beef! She was very impressed! And... I have the other half in my fridge for MY dinner.<br/>My dear father went for the 1/2 turkey sandwich on rye with a cup of homemade, chock full of veggies and beef soup. He didn't have much to say besides... MMmmMMmm...MMmmMMmmmmmm.... then the toppper... his lunch came with a slice of pie. He went for the lemon meringue, his favorite. all i can say is WOW. It was way WAY above average! And the crust was darn near as good as my granny made. Light and flaky, filled with tart/sweet lemon... awesome.<br/>It sure as heck won't be years before we go back. The halibut fish and chips looked fabulous and I do love me some halibut dunked in screaming hot oil! <br/>There is a lot to like about this place... and today anyway, not one single thing to nitpick."
