"We dined here after the restaurant was recommended by the clerk of our hotel. This place is a dining experience to say the least. Neither my wife nor I are overly familiar with true French cuisine and our waiter was exceptional in explaining the menu...items and making recommendations. We shared a number of dishes, including fois gras, bison Tatar, pasta and a succulent duck breast. The dill pickle bread was out of this world, served warm and very fresh. The restaurant uses local produce, including local wild mushrooms. The homemade gelato dessert was unlike anything I had ever had before and my wife loved the fruit and chocolate purée. The coffee was excellent. The restaurant has a patio overlooking the river. Unfortunately, it was late and cool so we could not avail of it. However, the indoor fining space was quite lovely; modern styling and tastefully done. If you are ever in Trois-Rivieres and want to experience French cuisine, this is THE place."

"It was hard to find an open restaurant for lunch on a Monday. Angeline's was the first we found along the main street and we were relieved to enter into a warm family restaurant. It was quite busy with a tour bus group. We were served quickly and the food was hot with generous portions. Our party had both pizza and noodle orders. Everyone was happy!"

"During our holidays in northern Quebec, in one of our breaks, we stopped buying coffee and donuts in Trois-Rivieres, near the highway in Montreal direction. The place was pretty clean and not too busy at that time (even if it was 6pm), but... I was impressed in a bad way, because of the number of flies that were over the counters, about everything that was food... Since my son is crazy about donuts with chocolate and I love the Tim's coffee, we decided to buy somehow just because there was no other place, but honestly I was disappointed. I really hope they'll check the cleanliness policy..."
