"My husband and I found this place the night we arrived in Tropea and we had dinner there four nights in row, it was exceptional. Authentic food, fantastic service, beautiful ambiance, we couldn’t fault the place. In a country full of touristic restaurants, this was a welcome change. Thank you so much. "Recommended by the manager of a nearby property, this restaurant has appeared immediately very quiet and reserved, far from the crowded premises of the center (despite the pedestrian zone is a few steps away . Service at the table of very young but highly qualified staff, except for some “ Sala help” that should learn the service’s abc (or maybe evaluate a different job! ... delicious dishes and excellent combinations, very recommended!"

"Gelateria placed in a central position on one of the most frequented alleys of tropea; has external tables. Ice cream, proposed as a craft, is nothing exceptional: plates, lack of creaminess. one of the specialties is the onion of tropea ice cream: I didn’t find it exciting and (in my opinion) leaves an intrusive aftertaste in my mouth. I can't give judgments on the truffle, another product boasted as typical from the ice cream shop. Average prices."

"I would leave zero star if I could . Starter : frozen shrimps . Incidentally wine arrived after the starter was served, and we had to ask for it . Main : fileja with courgette flowers and lobster. I got an empty lobster shell on a plate of gummy pasta with boiled courgette flowers and 2 shreds of lobster . Never before have I been served an empty shell on a plate. This place is advertised as a ‘fresh fish , calabria with a twist’ . We got sub standard frozen tourist grub when the sea is 100m away. Abysmal service as well, waiters shouting at each other in calabrese next to the diners. And not in a nice way my partner is calabrese and could understand every word. Not pretty All in all rather laughable service and food for a price that is a lot less laughable."

"Awesome staff, great prices, hospitality second to none, definitely a hidden gem! Venture 5 mins walk outside of the town centre and you will find this lovely place. When everyone else is closed they are open. Awesome coffee and great coussaints and a selection of beer and wine. Visiting from the UK. Lorraine and Tony Faccini"
