"Meine Frau und ich sind zum Hochzeitstag ins Luegibrüggli und können nur Loben! Unser Tisch wurde ohne Aufforderung speziell mit Rosen geschmückt, das Personal war extrem aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen einfach lecker und schön angerichtet! Das Ambiente ist "heimelig" und ein Tisch auf der wunderschönen Terasse mit Blick auf die Seen und die Berge wäre das Highlight! Leider war ich zu spät mit der Reservation, aber der Tisch direkt an der Glasfront war auch perfekt! Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau als Kulisse zum romantischen Dinner... was will man mehr!"

"Beautiful atmosphere and decoration, feels like imagination. this restaurant was recommended to us as serving traditional Swiss foods that we wanted to taste rostis. nicely presented and a very good part, but it lacked a bit seasonal for me, but that could only be me! friendly service."

"My family ate here for dinner one night after a tour to Jungfrau’s Top of Europe and loved it. You deal directly with the chef (Laurence) and the meal was lovely. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the appetizer and dessert were original and delicious. The environment is charming and extremely clean and we would encourage everyone to go there! It’s a nice walk to get there from the train station and was a memorable family experience. We loved everything about the chef, the food, and the ambiance."

"The display of cakes and breads and chocolates all made on the premises attracted us back for a light lunch after our walk around the pretty Alt Stadt of Unterssen across the river from main Interlaken. We shared a käsekuche - a cheese cake unlike the US variety and far far better with perfect light pastry base with a soft Swiss cheese filling ie a cheese tart. We also enjoyed a rice and curried chicken salad. It was fresh, light, full of flavour. And the lady who served us was helpful with my school boy German. A delightful light lunch. We took sticky gooey cakes and biscuits back to our hotel for a later tea. They were excellent too."

"By the river...great coffee and home made lemonade with hazelnut cake. Very cozy and yummy. Very nice hostess and lovely ambience. Will surely go once more....signs all over encouraging you to relax as you listen to the passing river...really nice."

"This is a cute little gem of a place, quietly hidden away on a back street away from the town square. They make the best sandwiches there - high quality ingredients, all home-made, even down to the mayo - scrumptious! They even have German Hofbrauhaus beer! We loved the nice and cozy atmosphere inside, and they even have a cute little outside patio. Kudos to our waitress, Gabriela, who gave us great service and made us laugh. We highly recommend this place!"
