"Terrible experience we were 15 minutes late for our 7.30 booking on Friday night I did apologise we were caught up at the hospital greeted with I was only giving you 10 more minutes and I would call your room madam here is your table,...I asked if we could have a drink first, at the table madam, no would you mind if we sat out side to this I was told the kitchen closes at 8pm so here is the menu madam we got our beer and bottle of wine with the menu the attitude of the waitress was not pleasant) we are not read to eat straight away so don't worry about the meal just charge our drinks to our room and we will go some where else as we would like a nice night out bottle of wine and sit for a while with out feeling we were keeping everyone, to this we were told she is here til 1am! go figure) no no no she said I have spoken to the kitchen they will stay open for you after more yap yap we finished our drink stashed the bottle of wine in the bushes to collect on the back to the room we went across the street and had a lovely night out. such a shame as our girls said the food is lovely there. Truly 8pm on a Friday night"

"Had a wonderful meal there of Eggs Benedict. I asked if the ham could be replaced with Avocado and that was no problem at all. Sitting near the cozy fire, it was sincerely one of the best meals (and coffee) I have had in a very long time....and just what I needed before my long flight home to Perth. Thank you for a lovely experience"

"This place has a the best cinnamon donut twists! This bakery is French so there are a lot of foods that regular bakeries don't have which makes it a great place to stop for something different. There are lots of different sweet pastries to try, all of which are good. There is seating inside and outside but not very much. Parking here is a nightmare however so keep that in mind when coming to visit."

"I live in Potts Point, location of some of the best restaurants in Sydney; The Oakroom would hold it’s own in any large capital CBD environment. Imaginative menu, excellent senior chef and a young knowledgeable and very attentive staff. I was more than pleasantly surprised...by the food and beverage standards."

"For my serve was tiny! The medium size was barely full, the ice cream didn’t touch the bottom of the cup. Staff were lovely. The choc mint and browny were lovely, creamy and tasty and full of ‘bits’. But I feel ripped due to...the size of the serving. Was not offered any of the free toppings that were advertised. Also being a ‘Gelateria’ and not having pistachio on the menu is such a sin!!"

"We ordered 2 flat whites , like dishwater, no creamy milk . When I said the coffee wasn’t good ,the hostile dude who made it said “a flat white is a flat white !” I know what a flat white should be , I’ve been...a barista for a long time in Melbourne , no idea of hospitality , First photo his idea of a “ flat white is a flat white “ Second photo hopefully when he gets some training as a barista and how to handle customers"
