"Teapots are disgusting and the cups are not much better. They look like they haven't been cleaned in days and is mould in the bottom of the cup. The whole place needs a deep clean and the prices are more expensive than ravenhead business park costa. Would have to think about coming again. It's like me a waste treatment center inside. I wouldn't come if you want a clean decent coffee. 1 Star. (F)"

"This quaint tea room was packed and that's always a good sign. We had two slices of rocky road and a cup of tea. It was delicious, it was cheap, it was beautiful. Very highly recommended. Photo is the food we ordered."

"The staff were rude, my food took ages to arrive even though I saw it ready on the counter. When it came to me it was cold. The staff were kind to the other customers but were rude to me and my mother. We were...different from the other guests (being minorities) and did not have a portugese speaking individual with us. This appears to have affected the quality of service we recieved. Either that or it was because we were the only minorities in the shop. We were ignored most of the time, weren't even offered any sauces for our food when I heard the waiter offer sauces to every other table they gave meals to. It was extremely uncomfortable and I will never go here again. The food was not worth the wait or the poor service."

"Visited Saturday evening as a group of Drinks orders took an age to arrive .Had to continuously try to get staffs attention to order drinks , water that we ordered before meal still hadn't arrived by the time we had finished our meal and...after asking for the time. When ordering our meals asked if the pate was smooth with the response of it's no bits in it if that's what you mean . I would expect any server to have at least basic knowledge of the menu. That said the food was amazing but unfortunately due to the poor customer service wouldn't visit again."

"With no water in our village due to an accident and damaged pipeline, cooking at home wasn't so appealing so we headed off to our favourite bar and restaurant, the Corner House. The place was busy and technically full as many people had the same idea, but the staff rallied round to make room for us and despite them being run off their feet, the food and service was still absolutely fantastic. Congratulations to Luke and the rest of the staff, you really pulled it out of the bag... and this is exactly why we go back there time and time again. We couldn't recommend it more, 5 stars every time."

"We came across this land pub the fox roby mill after the drive around to find somewhere, after our walk near parbold hill fairy glen right outside of wigan, personal made us feel welcome also tho we had not booked we were still able to order food and we were sitting in the dog friendly area his only small area inside, but if they come together with their pooches can not find"
