"One of my favourite places to get desert! The best flavour I have tried is pistachio - crazy good! Their shop has a lot more then just gelato too! Lots of great souvenirs too and some wonderful native art is to be had as well."

"We had a late reservation so we could watch the Sea Festival Parade down Marine Blvd. We were seated quickly and drink orders were taken.We ordered the calamari and yam fries for apps. The fries with dip were very good. I don't eat calamari but the people who did said it was very good.It was a tough decision selecting an entree for dinner. I had read both good and bad reviews on the fish 'n chips. I went ahead and ordered them anyway and was glad I did. The breading was not thick or greasy at all. The chips were just OK.Everyone else at the table enjoyed their dinners as well. The portions were pretty big because we had three boxes of leftovers.The wait staff was tremendous."

"Took clients for dinner who just moved to White Rock. The Labni which was made in house was very good and the crab cakes were some of the best ever had. The Seafood Stew Hot Pot was just okay, needed some vegetables in the broth to make it feel like a meal. I had the Arugula salad which was also just okay- uneventful. I did not like the chicken that I had on the salad. It was over cooked and torn up slightly and put back together to look like a breast so it was not very pleasing to look at. Can't remember what our clients had but they seemed happy. The service was fine except that our waitress was not very diplomatic. Young and needs more training. We asked for tequila shooters and she mentioned the brands they had. We chose one and she said "okay you want the cheap one." The ladies chose Goldshlagel and she brought it to the table cold which is correct but did not shake the bottle so we had no gold flakes. She said that this is the way they always pour it but she could take it back and shake the bottle first for us. Remember customer comes first, we are paying for a dining experience, make it memorable so we come back and we tell others to come back. Food was good, prices were somewhat high but it is on the water. It is not fine dining but I still think worthy of a try. Hopefully they do some staff training not just on their drinks but on their food and how things are made and where their ingredients come from, so when we ask they have confidence in their answers."

"Our brunch was delightful. The Dungeness crab eggs benedict were absolutely delicious. Others in the group had smoked salmon eggs benny and another the crab salad. All said their meals were delicious."

"Apparently this restaurant is closed for the season, at least that is what we assumed. We had been referred to it and were looking forward to having lunch there. Unfortunately, there was no notice advising of any closure which would have helped."
