"We only noticed this ice salon about 2 years ago, but since then a visit to Elberfeld is almost unimaginable without the Col ice cream. The ice cream is simply very delicious, whether standard or season. My favorites are the biscuits, followed by beeshitch and Stracciatella. The price is also true and the staff is always very nice."

"Diese Bewertung bezieht sich auf die Filiale am Toelleturm, da ich das Hauptgeschäft nicht kenne. Wenn man an einem sommerlichen Tag durch die Barmer Anlagen spaziert und am Ende ein Eis bei "Creme Eis" am Toelleturm einnimmt, ist das wie Kurzurlaub in der eigenen Stadt. Das wirklich mal "hausgemachte" (und nicht im Hause mit Fertigmischungen zusammengerührte) Eis ist super lecker, die Auswahl völlig ausreichend und sonst wohl auch in der Qualität nicht zu stemmen. Das Preismodell ist zwar etwas ungewohnt, da hier nicht nach Kugeln sondern nach Bechergröße abgerechnet wird, bietet aber die Gelegenheit, zu probieren. Das nette Ambiente in der gepflegten Anlage trägt zur weiteren Entspannung bei, dazu ein leckerer Kaffee. Was braucht man mehr?"

"We trekked all the way up the hill only to find out the sculpture park wasn't free. Instead we slumped into this cafe and it turned out to be gorgeous, and a much better place to spend our money. The friendly waitress served us some...really delightful hot chocolate it wasn't thin and watery, but rich. The cheesecake was excellent. And the general ambience of the cafe and the views from the hill are gorgeous. We paid about 4 euros per person (shared the cheesecake). Very worth a trip."

"Für uns liegt das "La Favola" glücklicher Weise nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß von zu Hause.Damit haben wir einen guten, sehr konstanten, sauberen und immer freundlich aufgelegten "Eck"-Italiener mit einem sehr guten Team in Sichtweite.Im Sommer draußen, im Winter drinnen, täglich wechselnde frische Gerichte (auch zum Mitnehmen) und eine gute Standard-Speisekarte > mehr braucht es hier nicht. Progression oder Moderne in der Küche bekomme ich nicht oder nur selten, aber das fehlt auch nicht. Das "La Favola" eignet sich ebenso für eine schnelle Pizza, wie für einen leichten Mittags-Snack, ein mehrgängiges Menü am Abend oder auch für eine Familienfeier im großen oder kleinen Rahmen.Gute Konzepte muss man an dieser Stelle nicht neu erfinden. Weiter so!"

"This restaurant has everything it needs. styilsh, friendly staff, pretty good cooking. we had a very good fish and crab soup, rather good grilled garnel, etc. I only give two stars because I made the mistake to order a pâté de foie gras. what. I got, besides a large number of spinach leaves, two small pieces completely tasteless pâté that came from a discount supermarket, they could actually still see the brands of the plastic container in the pâté and for that I was charged 19 euro."

"Cozy restaurant in the middle of the Hardt with usually a sufficient number of parking spaces, in which a lot of emphasis is placed on making you feel comfortable as a guest. Very attentive service. Hardly any drinks, only short waiting times for food. The food, there were five of us, from the salad plate to the schnitzel with spinach and the steaks from the menu of the day were all very tasty. Afterwards there was a dessert from the house, as usual in the Cafe Satzball. In this case, two balls of coconut mousse nicely decorated with chocolate sauce. A digestif on the recommendation of the house rounded off the evening and prompted us to make the next reservation on site"
