"Family meal, arrived approximately 10 minutes before another table and watched as the waiter paid all his attention to them resulting in us waiting 20 minutes for drinks and getting our food well after them. The food is okay not the best pizza I’ve tasted in Corsica, nice setting however."

"We had a few meals here - lunch and supper, as it was opposite out hotel. And we enjoyed their more modern take on the Corsican staples that we were saw in everywhere. The food and presentation was simple and stylish and reflected the values of the really lovely couple who ran the restaurant. I heartily recommend the croque monsieur and if you're a Brit missing their cuppa they have exceptionally good tea too!"

"Decorated as a country farmhouse, Auberge du Sanglier offers a variety of local game dishes. The rack of lamb was a standout. Service was pleasant. As many places in Corsica, there is little English but still kind efforts to understand our fractured French."

"Much more expensive than the neighbouring restaurants, but it had good reviews, so we "treated" ourselves. Well, something must have changed in the kitchen and not in a good way. The food was terrible. I had the beef topped with foie gras. For €35 I was expecting a nice piece of fillet (although it didn't say it was on the menu) not the small, chewy, unidentifiable cut of meat I got served on top of some mash with a bit of gravy. I hoped the chocolate fondant would make up for the disappoinment, buy sadly it was badly over cooked. I sent it back. Dreadful. I felt sorry for the waiters, who were lovely, having to bring out this overpriced rubbish. I can only assume he kitchen team must have have gone elesewhere. Be warned."

"Très bonne cuisine et bon rapport qualité/prix, glaces maison excellentes ! Cadre idyllique mais la terrasse donne l'air d'être à l'abandon, des planches sortent du plancher, les haut vents sont dépareillés, toilettes un peu sales, et serveurs souvent maladroits, je recommande pour la cuisine à bon prix !"
