"I was sooo happy to discover this place! sometimes you get gluten-free pasta in a restaurant, rarely gluten-free pizza (usually too crunchy) - but there on my plate was a gluten-free crêpe with apple-sauce and cinnamon sugar! And really, it was delicious! The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable - next time I will try a gluten-free galette, the dishes on the table next to ours looked so good! Service was very friendly and it gives a special atmosphere to have handicapped people working in normal jobs. Mind the opening hours!"

"I go here quite often, they have a delicious tofu/vegetable Noodle Soup, which I usually take for lunch. You can choose between 2 types and add Ginger etc. You also have veggie sushi, but I haven't tried that before. Edamame are also available, but mine were a little too in water when I got them last time. It is a convenient location near the shopping center Metalli and within the train station, can also recommend bringing your Omnivore friends."

"Classic, or should I say, Klassic, dishes. Many, many veal choices and from what I am told, northern Switzerland standards. Top tier service, wine, etc, in an year old building! Every item I had was excellent."

"We were seven family members to eat in the Ochsen restaurant and we were very happy with our choice. The waiters were helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was attractive with a view to the beautiful clock tower. Most of us chose the veal fillets with a mushroom sauce and rösti potatoes for the main course, and the latter were probably the best we have ever tasted! Only one detail was missing. When my husband telephoned to make the booking, he asked if the restaurant had air conditioning. He was told it did but when we arrived it was not on. It was an extremely hot day on 18 July and moderate air conditioning would have been appreciated. Apart from that, everything was perfect."

"I had the duck and the escargots and they are amazing. And the desert is sinful. Eliana, Jerome and Vicki are so friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere. Will definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area."

"Decent small hotel, very good location, right by the lake... center of the old town.... But to say this is great...well, in my opinion it is a great exaggeration. The rooms are fine....No special,...bathroom small...but big problem....they advertise that they have parking available.... No. The parking lot is more than 5 minutes walk... Public parking garage."

"Fresh mixed salad starter, and a really nice fillet of char (local lake fish, somewhat similar to trout) with rosti and vegetables, in a vinaigrette sauce. Although the food was expensive - and probably no more so than other restaurants nearby - the service and outside seating were very pleasant, with a nice refreshing local lager on tap in the bar."
