"Had a lovely meal here. Good food, well presented, friendly service.We visited on an evening in April so it was cool & we ate inside - but there is a large terrace overlooking the lake which looks as though it could be a fantastic eating area in the summer months.Pricing was mid range with a reasonable selection of a la carte & wines, in addition to set menus.Situated in easy walking distance of the man made beach & facilities at Brossac lake. A lovely place to eat & relax."

"On previous trips to Brossac this was a wonderful restaurant to visit. Unfortunately it has changed hands and the present operators know little about food and less about service. They appear to run the restaurant on the basis that they only need to shake a tourist down once with some overpriced food. The tourist will never come back and they can move on to the next victim. The food is poor and overpriced and the service is shocking to the point where the staff are rude. They appear to recognise when you wish to complain about something and studiously avoid your table. No locals go to the restaurant which says a lot.There are many other good restaurants in the area such as the Bistro du Circuit and Le Bistrot des Halles in Montboyer try these instead or drive to Barbezieux which has a fine selection of restaurants. Do yourself a favour and stay away from here.Visited August 2016"
