"While I have to give an absolute thumbs up for the marvelous view, I have to say as compared to many other places we have visited on the island (this is our 5th time now) we were not impressed. The food was fine, yet a bit expensive as compared to what the island has to offer. The service was highly polite, but slow and we really had to put effort into getting noticed. We had a nice evening. But we would have had it elsewhere equally."

"This is a super little country restaurant where we lunch on mountain biking days. Three or four dishes of the day on offer with everything included for a very reasonable price. Huge portions, simple but superb local cuisine, friendly service even when dealing with muddy mountain bikers of multiple nationalities. Recommended if you're out this end of the island. If your want to avoid mountain bikers then enjoy the simple Madeiran charm inside."
