"While they have many options for you to choose from as far as what to put on your burritos and etc, they give you very little meat. They basically pile the beans and rice in whatever you order to make it seem like you have the meat you ordered when in actuality you get a sprinkle of meat. I bought the steak nachos and monster steak burrito and got more beans and rice then I did meat, veggies, and cheese. The nachos are supposed to come with 2 sides of liquid gold (cheese) and I didn 't even get it. My advice ..save your money and go somewhere where you 'll actually get what you paid for. Even Taco Bell puts more meat in their burritos and nachos so I can imagine just how skimpy FreeBirds tacos and bowls are. I suggest going somewhere elsewhere to get your taste of Tex-mex cuisine. Won 't eat here again. "

"Being out and about on our Texas road trip, we've come across several locations of Rudy's. Never thought much of it until the family in Killeen had stories about it. That has driven our curiosity. Went up to the counter and ordered the brisket moist. Immediately afterwards a returning customer beside me was telling us how great it was. According to her she liked the moist the best. LOL. I was like that's a great sign. We added a side of cream corn, potato salad, and pecan pie. The brisket didn't last very long. We ate it like no tomorrow. Before leaving we ordered their regular brisket to go. It was that good! I never had anything like it back home so I was amazed. I just wanted more. When I visit Killeen again, this is one of my mandatory stops."

"Her eating is tasty and I love all her vegan veggie, plus low carb, options. try the vegan chorizo, so good! but I have to go or get delivered in the regular my food from here and they seem to have a problem with accuracy. last week I used my reward points for a free chip and dip. I'm with queenso and not with guacamole close. not cool when I try to keep my vegan diet!"

"This is a great place for an authentic Mexican lunch. the tortillas are the best in the city and so is the horchata (rice water). the Taco counter has a large selection of meats, the barbecoa and the carnitas are excellent. there is an open spicy with fresh lime, zilantro, etc. the butcher counter has some great things, especially fresh chorizo and marinated chicken."
