"My last review of Le Platen was several years ago, when I was quite disappointed. All that has changed after a recent visit. We had a lovely meal here a very French restaurant with a lovely menu all perfectly cooked. My husband had whelks starter and Sea Bream main, I went for the 30 euro menu which was excellent value, fois gras to start, followed by seafood platter, plus dessert. The young man waiting on our table was extremely friendly and spoke excellent English which was helpful as our French is not that good. We were allocated a table directly overlooking the sea, it was a truly delightful evening. We would definitely visit this restaurant again if we are in this area."
