"We had a great breakfast experience at Blue 36 yesterday. Lovely modern café. Plenty of seating. Not too loud like many others. My husband was very impressed with his quinoa avocado dish my bacon eggs were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was lovely.... friendly, attentive, forever smiling nothing was too much trouble. She is a real asset to the business. She is the sort of person you want dealing with customers. Sadly I did not catch her name but if Blue 36 read this, hopefully they will pass on my praise for her. We give them 10/10. Excellent food service. Well done guys!"

"Actual rating: 2.5 Greenwood Hotel is housed in an old sandstone building above Greenwood Plaza with different indoor and outdoor sections. Although we'd made a booking, we gave up trying to find our allocated table after getting the runaround from different staff members, and settled in at one of the numerous empty tables around. It didn't get any better, food wise. The thin crust pizzas had the texture of cardboard, but at least the toppings were decent. We tried the prawn and chorizo, pork trio and peri peri chicken. Most agreed that the prawn and chorizo was the best. I preferred the entrees, particularly the meatballs. Granted, we were there on a Thursday for the 2 for 1 pizza deal...read more"

"Loved the idea. Reads well on the menu. Unfortunately the end result was disappointing. Dry, luke warm meet presented on a platter. Had to wait 5 minutes for my beer (after my food was served). Overall, ain’t coming back."

"The menu was different from the one listed on OpenTable. Less than 10 choices were there. The service wasn't great. Not rude. But not welcoming at all. We chose Lobby Boy this time because our last experience was great. It must have been changed somehow. Quite disappointing."

"So happy to have another great caffe in north sydney. dan’s cafe and bar is located at the old rusty’s spot in the ridge st north sydney. the coffee is strong and quite consistent (then to dan) and the menu is a good combination of light snacks and some serious homemade dishes from the kitchen (cheesy chorizo, avocado and egg roll, house made burger minze and cheddar rolls, and bacon, tomato and mushroom quiche). the staff is friendly, among them barista dan, who pumped out fast and strong coffee. happy to have them in the neighbourhood. welcome!"

"Plenty of tables to sit and relax during a shopping break. Enjoyed my flat white. Family member did not recommend the bacon and egg sandwich as bacon did not taste like bacon."
