"Great place cheap and really good! I have nothing to say, it offers only two dishes, two entries and two desserts, but all excellent! The simple dish is 15€ (which is very reasonable given the quantity, the dish of the entrance or dessert is 20€ and the total menu is 25€. Their dishes are original, well presented, of qualities and copied! In addition, the place is hot and the two waitresses we had to face were very smiling and pleasant. We fell by chance, but we'll be back!"

"This place specialises in the tartes flambee (or flammekuche), which is a traditional Alsatian dish that is a bit like pizza.We had the chicken and chorizo tartes flambee and the plain tartes flambee (cream, bacon, onion). Both were amazing, but the best part was the dessert. Not sure about the French name, but it was a "tile" (biscuit type thing) with caramelised apple, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate topping, with bits of gingerbread at the bottom."

"I came here with my wife and family a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. The decor is warm and inviting, as is the service. We started with the homemade charcuterie which was some of the best we've ever had. My wife had the Skrei (cod) which was light and balanced, the crispy chorizo on the side was a perfect accompaniment. I had the entrecôte with gnocchis for my main course. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare (saignant), and the gnocchis were little pillows of deliciousness. We paired our meal with an Alsatian white and a Vacqueyras from Southern Rhône. Overall we had a wonderful experience, a delicious meal, very pleasant service and I highly recommend that you try L'Hédoniste!"
