"This place has really gone downhill over the last few years. Our family used to really enjoy this place. The last few times we have had food either in the restaurant or picked up for takeout, it was very disappointing. Each time we shared feedback directly with management on shift. Unfortunately this time there was no manager working. The restaurant was busier, but there were a lot of people waiting and looking disappointed. We ordered nachos with taco beef, which they said they could do, but then came back 25 minutes later saying they don’t have any beef “refreshed”. What exactly is refreshed beef? We cancelled the nachos. Food was cold, Philly beefsteak tasted like old microwaved leftovers and really didn’t have much of the peppers and onions typically found on this sandwich. I buy hot dog buns bigger than the bun my daughter got her sandwich on. Didn’t get the gravy we ordered and at $2.79 for a glass of pop, we certainly didn’t get any refills, nor did our server come to see how things were. In the end, our nachos and gravy were removed from the bill. I paid the $45 for sub-par food, listened to the excuses of training all new kitchen staff (why is there such a high turnover? She didn’t seem to care about our experience or she hears the complaints regularly. Even if she made an offer of covering our 2 pops for us, at least that would have been something. The best part was getting our bill before we got any food!! The couple behind us had to get their own menus after waiting 15 minutes for service. It’s sad to see a restaurant that once was a place you made the drive to Kakabeka to dine at, lose their passion for keeping their customers happy by serving quality food and providing great service. McDonald’s has gone downhill too, but at least I know what to expect there…. Sorry The Eddy, this place is a big old fail."

"So the food has a great taste, service was good and I liked the Mexican aesthetic there. Would I call it authentic Mexican food? No. It's more like a merger with tex mex. Did I enjoy my chorizo empanadas? Absolutely! Portion was very decent, right amount of spyness and tons of taste. Someone else order Taquitos and I have to say that the beans really tasted good. These taquitos are decent spicy, maybe too much for someone who is not used to spice food. I was very excited when I read in the menu that they offer traditional churros, but although they were delicious, again, not what you would expect if you ever had Mexican churros ate. I had the Horchata potion and I loved him. A little expensive, so definitely looking at something in front of the hand, but overall, a good experience."
