"The food here is very good. Better than the food we tried at another Mexican restaurant in Nanaimo. It's a cozy little family Cafe style place. If you're on your own or just want to stop with kids or friends someplace It's good. They don't serve beer or any other alcohol and their hot sauce I found, while pretty tasty, extremely weak on the fire I would happily eat here again but it's definitely not a date night place."

"Vegan Option: Yes<br/ <br/ I eat here a lot because they've got lots of vegetarian options and are vegan friendly, but honestly, the food is just OK. They get points for their salsa, which is great, but the rice and beans etc usually lacks spice. It's also very expensive for what I would consider to be fast-food quality food. I found no difference between my del jardin burrito at the restaurant and the one at the fast food location. They could really use some more spice options and perhaps try making their food a little more affordable, after all, how much is some rice and beans really worth? It's one of the cheapest foods out there..."

"By infestation we have discovered the small restaurant and let us give a place outside.Outside, no alcohol can be given (missing license,) but that didn't bother us.The card was good and sufficient and the food very delicious.Clear recommended!"

"My husband and I are visiting from Arizona, where there is A LOT of great Mexican restaurants. Plus, I cook some pretty awesome Mexican food myself. So, I am kind of picky. First was the margarita. Not too sweet, just the right amount of tartness. Yum! Good start. Next was the salsa....usually the killer for Canadian Mexican restaurants. It was excellent. Not terribly spicy (I like spicy), but that was okay because the flavor was so good. I had the chicken enchiladas, and they were very good. Good service, good food, good Mexican. All around excellent!"
