"Absolutely loved this spot the moment we walked in! Great atmosphere, lively staff and food was fabulous! Accommodated us despite not having a reservation. Started off sitting at the bar….mojitos were great and avocado dips were delicious! Then moved to our table for tacos and ceviche! Will be back again to enjoy this restaurant in Oakville!"

"I've been going to Souvlaki Hut since 2000, when it was just the one original restaurant in Clarkson. Back then the price was reasonable, the food was delicious, and the service (by Nick) came with a smile. We went at least once a week.Now the food has strayed so far from the original that it is unrecognizable. The tzatziki could just as well be cream cheese, there is no flavor. The salad is wilted and the dressing too sparse and with not enough vinegar (Nick used to dress the salad by hand and he always got it right). The feta is like dust. The spanakopita used to be so fresh, moist and tasty. Now it's just a square of nothingness. It's so frustrating to see something that used to be so good turn into something so bland. This location in particular is really not good. Clarkson is still decent."

"The staff is wonderful. That alone made it worth going. But the food was great and the salsa was very flavorful. The portions are extremely generous, so you're not leaving hungry. The only thing I don't like is the parking can be a bit cluttered at times, but they can't control that."

"Had a great dinner with my family for my fathers birthday on Monday. Our server Dallas was very helpful and cheery. She even brought a dough ball for our son to play with so he keeps entertained while we enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious as always! We had the fajitas and some tacos. The sangrita was also delicious and came recommended by our server. Will be back soon."

"This well appointed restaurant with the latin flair sits inconveniently in an industrial part of Oakville, well away from the maddening crowds?. Maybe that's better, it was for me..Despite the mixed reviews, I can only relate my positive experiences at this restaurant. I was met by the owner and the lovely Gera who hails from Cuba. She graciously explained the menu and recommended the Ceviches, Empanadas or Lomitos Saltados but I only had eyes for the Anticuchos - grilled beef hearts. They were very good and if my memory serves me, as good as the ones I had at Pardo's Chicken at Larcomar Mall in Lima. Although at $14, a tad pricy but well worth the inconvenience. I even told the owner that now that I had found this place, I no longer had to go to Lima...."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the variety , quality n flavor of this wonderful restaurant.The entrance is deceptive.The food excellent n the service very good.We had Cliff n his adsistant serve us.Cliff was knowledgeable , helpful n very pleasant.Our favorites were the dates wrapped in bacon n the scallops in an orange sauce.All the food was tasty n cooked just right.Be willing to spend 2 to 2.5 hours enjoying the meal."
