Das Restaurant befindet sich gut zugänglich an der Kaiser Strasse in der Frankfurter City. Parkplätze sind Mangelware, daher lieber mit den öffentlichen oder ins Parkhaus. Sowohl vor dem Restaurant, wie auch an der Hauptstrasse. Nach den tollen Kritiken haben wir uns entschieden diesen Inder auch zu probieren.Ambiente:
Das Restaurant selber ist schön und aufgeräumt. Die Sitzplätze draussen sind mit Sonnenschirmen abgedeckt. Mein erster Eindruck innen, wie aussen ist gut. Essen:
Die Karte enthält eine grosse Auswahl an Gerichten.Das bestellte Lamm Korma war leider eher wie Lammfleisch in einer Chutney und hatte für mich wenig mit echten Korma zu tun. Unter Chicken Vindaloo verstehe ich eine rötliche, scharfe Sauce. Dem war leider nicht so. Statt scharf war es eher salzig. Das Fleisch und die Kartoffeln, wie auch der Reis waren gut. Das Naan hätte etwas fluffiger sein können. Das Raita war gut abgestimmt.Bestellung: 1x Lamm Korma, 1x Chicken Vindaloo, 1x Raita, 2x Garlic Naan, 4x Indisches Lagerbier (0,33) – Total: EUR 51.80.Service:

Fazit:
Leider ein etwas ernüchternder Besuch. Hätte nach den tollen Kritiken und dem Fernsehauftritt eindeutig mehr erwartet. Ich habe schon bessere Inder besucht. Zum Essen kann man, muss man aber nicht.

"Very very nice south Indian food,like a family they served the food.the food taste is same as like my home.finally I got a place where I can have truly south Indian food also I am getting my kothu parotta.even my wife is happy with the food(normally she won't appreciate the food).Thanks Ganesha restaurant for the wonderful food.here after its my favorite restaurant when ever I comes to Frankfurt"

"Once you go in you are welcomed with a smile and smell of the lady who bakes afghani bread by the door in a very traditional way. The bread is very good with cheese and plain too. We were here for desserts and ordered Turkish tea and kunafa. The kunafa took a very long time but worth the wait! Warm kunafa with melted cheese and baked in a charcoal oven that added so much uniqueness to the taste."
