"The Nobin (through Deliveroo) unfortunately failed on the holy trinity of service for all restaurants: Our order was 1 hour 15 minutes late Food was barely warm And items were missing! Apparently, the restaurant had delivery driver issues that night however from ordering at 19:10 and receiving the order (well most of it) at 21:35 it left a sour taste. In fairness Fardin did try to communicate the problem proactively, but a call 25 minutes AFTER we were meant to receive the food was not the best start. Throughout the stories about what was happening seemed to get muddled over time so I will put it down they were very busy, and we were paying for it. Never usually leave 1/5 reviews but after taking the time to very rationally explain the next day how bad the service was, I was offered: Next time you order we will throw in some poppadom’s and chutney.... Unfortunately there will not be a next time which is a shame as this could have been a positive review!"

"We used to order almost every week and the food was always great. After a long break we got a new menu through the door and decided to place an order. Very disappointing, onion bhajis were small hard and cold. One dish was nothing like...the description on the menu wrong curry? My TANDOORI chicken masala was actually chicken Tikka masala. Sauce was watery, far too sweet and lacked taste. Overall very poor and not what we expected."

"We regularly pop in here for breakfast, coffee or lunch. The owners, two lovely ladies , and all staff are so nice and friendly. Their coffee and teas are great and food of all types is lovely fresh and tasty. They always have a good lunch specials board and are usually happy to cater for any special off menu requests if possible. The vast majority of food is made fresh on the premises including all the super cakes and tray bakes, etc. They also stock a selection of unusual occasion cards and and children’s unusual presents. All highly recommended."

"Just had an order delivered tonight was somewhat disappointed I ordered it at to be delivered at it must have been cooked straight away and been stood had onions and salad missing from the order the starters where cold the onion bhaji had...gone chewy nan bread cold curry was good but luke warm second time I have ordered first time was lovely so now your sacked sorry"

"Arrive early as they sell out fast! High Lane cakes(I use the term lightly) as similar to Eccles cakes but bigger, fuller and far tastier. Love the chocolate delights, egg custards etc etc We haven't eaten anything from this shop that we haven't loved and gone back for more. Must try his bread too, tastes as bread ought to taste!!"
