"We ate in this restaurant twice in our ten day trip to Tuscany. It is well worth a visit. Montegemoli is a sleepy little village in the middle of the countryside there is a lovely slow pace of life here. On both visits we shared the house antipasta as a starter. This is far and away the best antipasta dish we’ve had during our stay in Italy with a huge variety of meats, cheeses, pastries, tempura, melon etc etc. Simply delicious food carefully prepared and served beautifully. To be honest I’d return for that dish alone. Tonight I had a peppered steak, my other half had a beef dish with Parmesan and Rocket. Both were delicious. We shared a sumptuous Tiramisu to finish. I’d recommend a bottle of the Tuscany Rosé it was perfectly crisp and light! Staff were lovely and welcoming and even though its off the beaten track they seem to be doing a great trade."
