"Food was hot and fresh. We were welcomed with smiles and a very inviting atmosphere. Love the old style shape of the store. Very well upkeep and tidy restrooms. Good menu selection. We arrived late at night when it was quiet and the on shift management was working on schedules and was very friendly and supportive to her staff. New Dr. Pepper shake was fantastic."

"It had been a few years sense I had been to Tally's. I took some friends for a route 66 experience.. It did not look like the pictures. The food was as good as ever a nice experience, but I think they lost there way when they changed the exterior, I loved the big red canapé it was so so cool, but alas not now, The green metal awning not cool at all. Tulsa has lost two really neat places Tally's it is still there it just lost it's cool factor and the Metro dinner out of business ( Elvis does not eat there any more ) Again the food was fine, don't be in a hurry it takes a while. I was disappointed in the outside appearance."

"In the city for the williams route 66 marathon with my engaged, I thought I was a bit of breakfast and read the local time. I went into a wide open dinning room and instead of sitting on the bar, please stand for one. had to make a quick trip to get rid of the morning coffee. When I came back, I was informed that this was saved for church men's funny thing I am church people, but happened to be out of town, coming to enjoy what I thought would be a nice breakfast gathering experience. so if they don't want in their sunday best (not jeans and a sweatshirt) they might want to go to the subway (half block away) or all day dinner back to harvard. incredible!"

"I'm going out with this 5 stars rain! nelson is, hands down, the best comfort food in tulsa. her chicken fried steak is the best I ever had and her kartoffels, green beans, mac and cheese and roll are all amazing! I'd eat every day if I knew I didn't have a heart attack! If they're looking for a good chicken roast, they won't go on!"

"I had two abitur and countless birthday cakes of merritt and they are always incredible. it is not always easy to communicate decoration wishes with the personal, but they are friendly and generally reliable. lemon cake with cream filling is the best, but their chocolate cake with chocolate frozen is deeply chocolatey and satisfying. merritt’s is perfect for partying and weekday afternoon pick-ups."

"Ate here in August for a celebration.The host we interacted with was absolutely amazing. I do not have her name, but she made a solid conversation and was very informative. We talked about California a little bit as she had lived there as well. Our waitress was eccentric and polite, but barely spoke with us. I requested the Vegetarian Tasting Menu and recieved an item with meat, but she exchanged it quickly. With that being said, I recommend the tasting menu. My partner had the traditional tasting menu and enjoyed everything. I had the Vegeterian Tasting Menu w/ wine pairing. I did not finish the wine nor the cocktails we ordered. I had the Jalepeño Peacharita and the kick was pleasant. Just enough to tickle the tongue. We ordered the Charcuterie Board prior to the tasting menu and that alone was plentiful. I loved the fresh blackberries, crostini, cheeses, and nuts. The dessert (Justin's Favorite Chocolate Pie) is a must if you are a chocolate fan! The base is an Oreo Crust, but there is chocolate cool whip and ganache. Delicious! The only thing I did not love was the pasta that I recieved (w/ the Vegetarian Tasting Menu). It was salty. Perhaps too much pesto? Regardless, their were beautiful chunks of heirloom tomatoes in my pasta that helped balance it out (which may have been the purpose). The restaurant was clean and I didnt have to battle flies buzzing around my plate like so many other places do in the summer heat. I do suggest eating here if you are having any doubts. The staff overall is great. We had an additional waitress come by as well and enjoyed speaking with her (again, didn't catch names). Im generally not super social, but I do like talking about culture, food, and travel! I am so happy that I found a nice place for us to eat for my celebration. Thank you, Juniper."

"This is now reopened as "Dilly Diner." The atmosphere is great. It is nice to see them making their fresher baked goods up front as you come in. We went for Saturday brunch. It was about a 20 minute wait, which is to be expected for brunch at a newly opened location. The waitress was very scattered and didn't know the menu or specials. However, the coffee was good and others helped the wait staff to make sure our needs were met in a timely manner. The food was very good. They had run out of gravy, but the server who brought the food made sure we got some as soon as a new batch was ready. I expect some of these issues will be worked out as time passes. Keep in mind, they are new."
