"I never leave here hungry. This place is wonderful. It kind of feels like I'm in a bedroom. Or a big living room. Many owls watching over you in here, all charming. The company is great, lots of visitors to make conversation with. Staff are lovely and hardworking. Can't come to Monterey without coming here!"

"Nice that it’s all gluten-free, but it’s lacking in flavor. I’ve been there twice now, once for cookies and the second time for a pie. I feel awful saying this, but since the only way things can get better is to address them, I might as well be honest. The cookies were dry and tasteless, even though they were beautiful to look at. It’s the same story with the pie. I really want to like this store! I’ll be going back for a cupcake and the highly-recommended frosted cinnamon roll, but if those don’t taste any better I’ll probably have to move on."
