"Meat eaters delight! The meat was plentiful, cooked perfectly rare, delicious and with excellent service. The hot and cold side dish bars were excellent, and I loved all the cold vegetables, especially the roasted bell peppers and the cucumber salad with lemon dill vinaigrette. Next time we're in Oxnard we are coming back."

"The food is wonderful along with the extensive wine list, but it is very loud and difficult to have a conversation with someone at your table. There were two of us, so we sat very close to couples on both sides of us. It is a good way to meet people, but if you are looking for an intimate culinary experience, I would not recommend it."

"We came for a friends birthday after a successful and pleasant visit the month prior. We came for the oyster happy hour experience. We initially ordered 36 and thoroughly enjoyed. As the time for the happy hour special neared an end our waitress was no where in sight. This was about 10/15 minutes. When she finally arrived back to our table, around 7:08 and we ask about an additional 2 dozen oysters, she then informs us that the special is now over and she could bring over the Oyster cards. As a hospitality and service expert, with travels around the world my concern and disappointment is twofold. As a server your responsibility is attentiveness and awareness. As we’re enjoying each other and our experience, and you note there is a special ending (we noted we only came on for oysters before dinner) it would only be in good service to check on your birthday table to see if they would like anything else, drinks included. With lack of attentiveness, making up for a potentially overbooked section would have been accommodating on top of an out of town dining experience. Still topping a 20% gratuity, it was not reflective of this instance. Quite honestly, it left a bad experience and taste in my mouth. I had a marvelous experience last month at the bar. The bartender and bar manager Faith were amazing. The level of service and care, impeccable."

"How does this place have 4.5 stars? I mean, I get it, Reno itself has a lower standard because people don 't come here for glamour--they come because it 's close (to NorCal) and cheap! Based on my experience here, which will be my only and last, this place is nowhere close to 4.5 stars! Why? 1) Service is SLOW. If you disagree with this, then service is inconsistent. We did witness the tables near us get a lot of attention whereas our server seemed careless. We definitely didn 't feel taken care of. No smiles, no sense of urgency, nothing--our guy just wanted to go home. 2) Employees were arguing while cleaning the big table in front of us. One younger Caucasian guy said something like, why am I cleaning your table? The other latin or middle eastern looking guy responded Just leave me alone. Was this racism? Good on him for squashing it, but we still felt the tension during our fancy meal. 3) For what you get, the food is way overpriced. We got some prawns, oysters, and tuna for appetizers, none of which were worth the price point. The oysters were small, and the prawns/tuna tasted old. 4) The Filet Mignon I had was nothing special. Sure, it might 've been cut from the actual correct part of the cow but I doubt that it was anywhere close to high quality. The marbling was probably non-existent as evidenced by no taste. I mean, they 're not fronting like they got grass-fed, wagyu, 30-day aged, etc. but the price for the flavor you get just isn 't worth it. I should have drizzled A-1 steak sauce on it just to let them know how bad it was. I know, it 's Reno! Just about everything is imported so the prices won 't be that low. That doesn 't give this place an excuse to have terrible/inconsistent service, poor employee conduct, and sub-par meats. It 's better to just go elsewhere where you can get a better experience and potentially an actual tasty steak."

"When they ask how you want you meat cooked and you say medium well. They brought out all rare meat, not until we said something to the manager did we get properly cooked meat. When you only grilled every day it should be easy to get the temps correct. Service was horrible barely saw our server. Probably will never return at the prices they charge you would expect better all around experience. Also do not sit close to the bar as you get ignored when they walk around with the meats."

"The service was great, but the meat was either undercook or very cooked. The filet mignon was burnt and with a ton of pepper Also, compared to Fogo de Ãhao, there was not enough meat variety So, I was very disappointed, there are several Brazilian steakhouses in Hartford that are way better and cheaper However, the service was good."
