"OMG! Best damn Fish Chips ever! Thin batter, large fish filet and chose to do the tots as chips instead of fries and simply amazing. Great atmosphere, TV’s everywhere, service is on point from door to seat. Super quick and friendly staff and servers and Tons of beer selections. You want Fish and Chips and in this area, don’t hesitate, get yourself there. Plenty of other great selections of food to choose from, I’m just a big fish guy. Slaw is fantastic as well!"

"Wow! First, the food was excellent. We started with beet salad. My wife and friend had razor clams, another friend had sturgeon. I'm vegetarian, I found the mushroom ravioli to be delicious. For dessert, we split a tiramisu and homemade ice cream. Our server Juan did a great job. Prices were reasonable. It was so good we were back the next morning for breakfast. My wife had Willapa Bay oysters, which she reported were fresh and delicious. We also split and order of New Orleans beignets.I had the blueberry waffles with blueberry syrup, it was wonderful. We highly recommend the 42nd Street Cafe if you're on the Long Beach Peninsula."

"Nice that this place was open on Monday to celebrate a birthday dinner. The rack of the Lamb was generous, inexpensive and tasty. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. Next time, I will not disturb the antipasto plate, as the selection had too much vinegar for my taste. I am also back with the facility, which is dated and easily worn in the 1960s. Maybe that was what it was unique and charming in its own way."
