"A wonderful spot for Saturday brunch before the matinee to a Broadway show. We had a reservation and they seated us quickly. They took all the correct precautions for Covid checking our vaccinations and licenses, wiping down tables, no menus as you scan the QR code and servers wearing masks. I can't wait to come back again and try it for dinner where we can appreciate the cocktails!"

"We have been twice in the last 2 weeks ... which describes how much we love Metro 8. The porcini mushroom noodles are my favorite along with steak and tuna. The vegetables are always so fresh and cooked perfectly. The salads are crispy and properly dressed and the wine list is huge and delicious. Perfect for dates, girls' nights or special occasions. Correctly priced for the top quality food you get. Better steaks than Angus Barn, better pasta than Maggianos and much cheaper. The terrace is our favorite dining space, but the tables inside are super romantic. We will no doubt be back soon. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, top bar and wine list and food in the region to celebrate small business ... all my favorite things! Parking is so much easier than downtown Durham and we love the taste of 9th Street. The desserts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious."

"I have visited ZiZZi's of Maidstone a few times and found the food and table service to be good. My only criticism is the front door hosting. On every visit we have waited to be seated even when not busy. No We'll be with you shortly No welcome to Zizzi's No Enjoy your meal when seated, No customer service. The host walks by without eye contact, on every occasion. No interest. The seating host is your first contact with the restaurant and a friendly greet makes the guests feel welcome."
