"Wasabi was a basic Sushi bar with just ok Sushi. The food is good, but seriously not something to write home about. When you compare the sushi to the price, I do not know if I can recommend them to anyone. The staff are all very friendly and the facility was clean. As for the other peoples comments recently about poor service, from what I was able to see, it just feels like they are understaffed as they did take a while, but we were only able to see 2 wait staff on the floor."

"The food was good. The service was bad. Took about 15 minutes after we were seated before our server came over. Also took a little bit after we got our drinks before we were able to order our food. We were seated by the kitchen and several tables walked over to ask for their checks while we were sitting there so it seems to be a restaurant issue, not a server issue."

"I like the atmosphere. Very loud on a Saturday evening. The portions were small. I had the cod. It was delicious, but small. After dinner we sat outside by the fireplace. Very cozy and relaxing."

"Reserved our evening with open. Came into restaurant and was greeted very nicely, the hostess then took us to our table. Sat and waited for approximately 20min before even being waited on. The waiter was very rude and never filled our water glasses or never asked how are food was. Don’t plan on returning to this Wasabi location."

"I have been going for several years, but not often recently. I had forgot why the drop off, so I decided to go for Mother 's day with my family. I was quickly reminded why I do not go anymore. It took over 1 hour for food to arrive. I spoke with server multiple times to find out what the situation was she replied with a response of (paraphrasing well, it 's mother 's day today, a lot of people came, we have only one cook in the back. she spoke over me when I was trying to talk trying to further give excuses. When the manager came, she did apologize, half-heartedly, but she did not want to engage and just kept on throwing us discount or taking something off the bill without addressing the issue of the wait, lack of staff and response from the server. The manager just wanted to close the situation by changing the bill. the table next to us felt the same way and they told us they were happy that we said something. Frankly, having one cook in the back should not be the customer 's issue. Knowing that it was Mother 's day should have warranted appropriate staffing. The customer should not have to suffer due to this and also it puts their servers and managers in a bad spot, as it was not their decision to have only one cook. This was the same experience on multiple occasions with only one cook in the back (last time they got the orders wrong at that too! . Needless to say, I will not be coming back. Ownership needs to really reflect on how they want to move forward. I believe that the good years of this place have passed. without some significant changes, I do not believe that they can sustain themselves. I believe the only reason why they stay in business is the lack of other sushi places and their location."
