"Our family has eaten this afternoon at the plaza leza and we ordered the typical 2 for 1 frozen drinks. my friend ordered the pina colada, which was naturally mixed in one of the restaurants. at the end of the frozen drink she took. a last swallow and had what she thought to be in her mouth first. When she spit it back into the cup, we discovered that there were two shaky blades that had broken off the mixer and sat at the bottom of her drink. we have docked in cozumel as part of an MSC cruise. if she hadn't noticed and accidentally swallowed one of these sounds, the result would have been catastrophic. not only would it require medical interventions to have removed this product, it would also have severely damaged neck and like as a result. we would not have been able to return to the ship for the cruise, and it would have been a big event. Although this was not a direct reflexion on the server that helped us, he did not attempt to solve the situation positiw *and the owner*. they had the audacity after pouring out a full drink, coupled with the fact that there is a razor-sharpened mixer blade in the cup trying to calculate the full price for the meal drinks. at the end, the owner “neighed” was enough to remove one of the $6usd drinks from our bill, but offered no excuses or substantial repair for what might have been a severe medical emergency. plaza leza has been a recommended place in our family for 15 years, and that ended today. we are incredibly disappointed by the escape, as well as the owners respond to it. would definitely not recommend everyone."

"Divers and snorkelers beware!!!! We have been coming to money bar for many years and are so disappointed by the new manager David. He is unpleasant and will not allow his staff to even make a spicy margarita. They have to bring jalapeños on the side when David is there. Today after eating dinner last night and drinks and breakfast this am we were to be picked up for diving as we always are. He proceeded to accost our dive master and tell him he may never pick up another guest because this trip we were not staying at the Landmark. I explained we have always stayed there and I didn't realize if we are eating at money bar we couldn't use the pier. I have to say I have never had this experience in Cozumel and have absolutely loved Victor and many others at the Money Bar. This makes us never want to return as there are many restaurants willing to take our money and use their pier."

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Not alot of choices to walk to at night that aren't cruise ship types of restaurants so we stayed and ate in. The first night i got the shrimp and rice (little to no taste) and the second night i got the carne asada (more taste and average but nothing to write home about). Each am they had a breakfast that was around $6 American Dollars and that was actually good IF you got the omelet which the staff makes. If you just stuck with continental then again, it was average. So it's good in a pinch but if you want GREAT food I would suggest another place."

"It was pouring rain the night we ate there this past January. It was the closest place to eat around the B&B where we were staying and I'm talking torrential rain and 4 -12 of water in the streets. We waded there and paid $60 for a meal that wasn't worth half the price. I had 2 beers the wife had one glass of wine. It wasn't bad but it was the second most expensive dinner during our 3 week stay and it was near the bottom of the list in terms of flavor. I've heard the taxi drivers push this place because they get paid for bringing folks. You can do a lot better for half the price or less. I will say the atmosphere is nice."
