"We were very happy that the Boot and Blade was recommended to us by a friend from Owen Sound, as it really turned out to be a local gem! We went once for dinner and once for breakfast, and we would never hesitate to return...when in the mood for a relaxed diner-like meal! There was a nice variety of choices, and everything we ordered was quite tasty, and served in large portions. Service was EXCELLENT, our charming server Rachel was a great representative of the restaurant! If you like diners and family-style, relaxed dining, don’t hesitate to go to the Boot!"

"We had both our dinner and our breakfast the next morning here. Joy, our waitress at dinner was very effective and very out going. The cute touch is that they have a fake coyote they put outside on the lawn that scares the geese away. At breakfast, the staff was friendly, the food wad decent and a nice touch is that coffee is free with our breakfast up to 11 am. Food is a decent price. Can't beat it!"

"This is an amazing Brewery and Restaurant experience, a must do! We discovered this fun spot in August 2022 with friends for lunch along the beautiful River in Owen Sound. VERY friendly and knowledgeable staff that knew their lunch menu and beer selections well. Their beer was simply excellent on a hot day! We enjoyed the sour rhubarb beer (middle beer in the picture below). Their smoked chicken sandwich and their homemade fries were just so tasty! The best pub fries we can say we have ever had, large wedge cuts and with a crispy coating! They smoke their meats on location and the brisket was so tender. The corn bread is a great appetizer too. They offer vegan friendly lunch options too. Excellent lunch from start to finish, so great that we made another repeat lunch the next day together! Thanks again everyone for our outstanding brewery restaurant experience, we left stuffed! Look forward to seeing you again the next time we are in Owen Sound!"

"Visited this restaurant for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. We were NOT disappointed either time. We overheard another group talking about the homemade burgers so went with them and the homemade fries...DELICIOUS! Breakfast was very hot when served, plentiful and delicious, also. Friendly and efficient staff.Oh, and make sure you don't miss the homemade pies. We were so full but took some to go.Great fresh home cooking!"
