"We went to the Stone Corner Pub in Pickering for dinner in May 2015 and were disappointed in how this place has gone downhill. We like to walk to this location. When it changed from the Burbs Bistro to the Pub the atmosphere changed a bit, but we were happy that the great service and amazing food stayed pretty much the same. While the server was friendly and ok on our recent visit, the food was not. It was greasy and not well cooked, the lettuce wilted and the flavour not great. My butter chicken was ok, but everything else was terrible. Also I noticed that the flip menu on the table was filthy, the seating warn and the restaurant windows dirty. We most likely will not be returning, and certainly wouldn’t bring guests with us as we had done in the past. I am really disappointed and hope the owner can turn things around before it is too late."
