Would visit againUpdate: I had originally given this place four stars but after seeing the way the owners and management really backup their staff when it comes to rude reviews and comments my respect for this place has doubled. "Sat and ate and ordered some food be i was on the road all day a vis at that i have only been here for two days these people charged me twice because they were not paying attention to what was goi g on them on my exit ask me for more money first of all the food is not all that so i didn’t even eat i let my partner do the tasting to know how the whole restaurant came at me for my own money with chairs and disgust i’ll. see them in court"

"If I can give out 10 stars I would! The fresh food, the friendly/accommodating service you can't beat it. I tried Union Market as a result of a referral by my neighbour and I am so glad she mentioned it because I had no idea it existed?! It is a hidden gem. Has the most DELICIOUS cod cakes (bacalhau) made fresh. You can buy them precooked or take them home to cook, either or. Perfect for a gathering (when covid is gone of course). The custard tarts are equally fresh and delicious. You really taste the love in each bite. Tastes of europe. I wasn't lucky enough to go inside, I placed my order over the phone after viewing their online photos. It was delivered to me and like I said, I couldn't be more grateful. Can't wait to go there in person. Thank you for the amazing service to the Union Market fam! I don't know what is better, your food or service! 5 stars for both!! All the best in 2021!"

"Pros food and service were both very good. 1980s music in the background. Cons quite noisy tables felt rather crammed together down the window side (there were only a few inches between us and the tables either side). Larger tables in the centre seemed more spaced out. If you want to reserve they ask you to pay a $10 pp non refundable donation to a charity. We were there mid morning on a week day the queue was not long."
