"Was skeptical about coming due to friends and family saying the prices were high and portions small. But we were not disappointed. The rice under the salmon was quite overpowering as was the mashed potatoes but everything else was fantastic! I am so not a brussel sprout kind a girl but I couldn?t stop eating them!! We also ordered the friend green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were also wonderful! Glad we came in to try it out."

"Man. I am super not picky and I always try to give them a chance because I live so close, but this is like the 5th time I have a room temperature burger with rubber hard bark and cold bungalow? my 5 years old is not at all picky and I tried to give her my burger, but even she said it was hard and cold. When the last time happened, I went back to give them the chance to make it right, and they took so long to remake my eating that it made me late for work. I can't be late for work, but if you decide to eat here, you should be sure to expect cold hard food and long waiting times."

"We’ve gone to McKenzie River for family dining with the kids for a long time and like it as a place to take the family for pizza. Since covid though, it seems like they’ve been having on and off struggles with staffing (not a unique problem), and when they’re having staffing troubles the service has been quite slow. That seemed to be the case at dinner tonight—it probably took 40 minutes to get our food and the dining room was only 1/3 full of people (with a handful of unbussed tables mixed in). The staff there were all working super hard and were very nice and apologetic—no complaints about them—there just weren’t enough of them. It’s still a good place for what it is—but would be a nicer experience if they were consistently staffed up."

"Love to try new restaurants when in Billings for fun/business/date weekend. Great crab wontons with tasty wasabi for an app! Steak scallops were great. Drinks from the bar were strong. Server forgot to bring us soup salad, but made it up by comping dessert."

"We were there by chance. Didn't order, but elsewhere our friends met. The atmosphere was so fresh and modern. Anyway, we'll go there when we get back.
