"We went to Moxie's after seeing it had a good rating in TripAdvisor. We shared some small plates, had two small salads and shared a bottle of wine on 1/2 price Wednesday. Our first plate was Korean fried cauliflower. The tempura-ed cauliflower was rendered tasteless by the sauce that also smothered the crispness of the batter. Not a good start. The tempura calamari was much better than the cauliflower since the sauce was just for dipping. Finally we also had sushi cones although the shrimp in them was lightly fried instead of just being raw. All in all a good but not great dinner. Our serving person made all the difference. She was attentive and informative. We enjoyed our interaction a lot."
