"I made the reservation here when visiting Boise for a funeral. Several things that are not common with the restaurants that I am used to eating. Initially a notation was added on the menu “by not sharing tips there is a 3.5% fee for cooking staff to keep their wages competitive” It has not specified that it above on the already quite high prices for the limited Entree menu. The only free accompaniment was water, not bread, cracker, salad, etc. My mother had the Petrale Sole and was satisfied, I had the chicken carving and was underwhelmed. As I finished my entree, a person other than the waitress reached my plate to remove it, but I wasn't done, but she then touched it so far. With our waitress Dawn, we've asked about the Dessert sampler, it was a small part of the three listed things, Crème Brûlée, Chocolate Torte Chocolate Mousse. When it arrived, it was Crème brûlée, a pear cake (bread pudding) and chocolate mousse, the description of the mousse did not say espresso or mocha, but was clear with one of the two, none of us fans and had explained it in the description, we had chosen differently. To round off the disappointing evening, an additional fee was added to use my debit card (it was not listed in the menu or the Open Table reservation page), you would have noticed that I had used cash. The building is wonderful with the brick walls and it was cozy, but acoustics made it difficult to talk."
