"The food was good. But I would not recommend the restaurant because the restaurant is very small. Many of the tables are in the sun. It is not comfortable to sit inside the restaurant and have to deal with the sun in your face while dining. Also, parking in the nearby parking lots can get expensive. I ended up paying $12 to park in the nearby lot. I think the restaurant should invest in some shade for their big windows to block out the sun. Having some shade would enhance the dining experience."

"We’re in town for a few days and after wandering around Griffith Park for a while, we decided to try this James Beard recognized spot for lunch. It’s a casual little window serve eatery that was constantly busy while we were there. We ordered a carne asada torta, a carnitas taco, carne asada taco, a chili cheese dog, and then a plain cheeseburger to go because almost everyone that walked up ordered one and we needed to know what that was all about. The torta was great hot grilled steak served on the softest bread (with ketchup, which I thought was different, lettuce, onion, and tomato . The carnitas tacos were served with a double corn tortilla and from the bite I got, sand and new to have great flavor as well. The chili cheese dog was the only regret because we thought the chili tasted kinda canned, but it did have a big chunks of meat. Now, the burger. Every single person that walked up or called ordered a burger (some even ordered two or more! , in addition to a taco or two. It came out wrapped in wax paper and smelled amazing. It was well seasoned with melty cheese and reminded me of the best backyard burger. It wasn’t greasy at all and the buns were warm, too. We’re low key mad we didn’t order this first. Or more than one. I don’t know what it is about that burger, but I’m gonna think about it for days."

"A very vibrant brunch scene. All tables were full and there were good vibes all around. We had to wait, even though we had a reservation, but not for long. The hostess and servers were very friendly and the food was exquisite. Complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch too. I’d certainly recommend this spot and treat myself to it again soon!"

"1st let me set the mood. We arrive on a Friday for a 7pm reservation they tell us we have a 2 hour time limit at the table but can stay later at the bar, that’s fine.they walk us to a table up by the bar, the section is COMPLETELY empty. They seat us NEXT to a LARGE speaker. Like I’m talking 2 inches here. We ask to move to another identical table 6ft away. They refuse, “that table is for someone else” well … I am 100 percent sure they didn’t call and book the 2nd worst table in the house or any of the other 10 empty ones but they were INSISTANT that we could only sit at or should I say on the speaker. So we left. I was blown away by this insanity from the hostess. DO NOT go here"

"This place is really good. If you haven't eaten here then you need to go and eat there. Plus, the staff is great. Couldn't ask for anything better. Them when the food came out it was all great too. Not too bad with their pricing. I am so going back here again. Like you can tell everything is made fresh. Couldn't ask to start my day off so great. Just wished I lived a little closer so I would be able to eat here a little more."
