"Very rare to go north shore, so I'm almost a total stranger to Takapuna. I take the chance to try this in my training lunch break as I am a big fan of Southeast Asian foods. Portion is somewhat smaller than others, so the price is cheaper. Pho $9.9 for small, $13.5 for big. My overall feeling is not bad. Beef disc pho is fresh, the broth is delicious. They are perfect for office people nearby to enjoy a quick and easy lunch without too much effort."

"Absolutely love this place! Have been many times since its opened and always have a great experience. <br/>Sushi is super fresh and tasty, the curries are some of the best in Auckland (the Massuman is a personal favourite) and the cocktails are devine. <br/>Would definitely recommend the fish sliders and the sweet and sour pork belly, just two of the many highlights on a very well curated menu. <br/>To top it all off, the staff are very friendly and attentive! It seems I’m not the only one who loves this place though, it’s always booked out so make sure to get in early!"

"Dinner for 2 tonight. Great ambiance Overall, this was a wonderful experience with friendly, helpful, and approachable staff, all very professional. Every dish we ordered was tasty and delicious. Gao certainly delivers the goods and more. We are looking forward to visiting this excellent Restaurant again soon."

"Love love loved it. I had the lincoln burger 'wow ' so yummy so full of flavour. Also had the chocolate brownie and that was to die for. The service was so awesome. And fast on getting our order out. My friend had the mushroom crosoint (sorry can 't spell and she couldn 't get enough of it. Will definitely be going back"

"The big display of their menu items caught my attention. Was really useful to include small descriptions and photos of the items, especially for an indecisive person like me. <br/ <br/ Gave the peanut sauce chicken a go. The grilled chicken appeared to be very dry as I poked at it. I was wrong. It was tender and sort of just melted away in my mouth. And the peanut satay sauce? It was sweet, coconutty and rich in favour. The perfect sauce for the chicken.<br/ <br/ Unique flavours and good chicken; not bad for $11. <br/ <br/"
