"As I only dropped in whilst on my way home from Home Depot, basically next door to Jakes, one evening, and it happened to be on a Thursday night, the place was packed. A band was playing. Getting to the bar past other patrons to order a beer was what one would expect in a popular establishment. Appearred that many of the patrons were 'regulars', as the hi-fives or the hey you's was had amongst many of the folks. The outside patio area had it's fill of smokers. Was it an area where one could sit out and enjoy the evening atmosphere? Nope, but if need of the nicotine...sure! Loads of people were having fun. Some drunk, many not so much. The dance floor had it's fair share of grinders, and fellows with hopes that the young lady they were dancing with would be joining them in their bed later that night. Hotel Time Motel Time!"

"This is the second time I have gone and I have had to send back my food. I ordered very simple things fries and onion rings I'm not sure how you can mess that up. Twice they were not cooked. I sent them back. They came back they had thrown the same fries and onion rings back in the fryer. My gf had the same problem. Hers came back out of the fryer w her ketchup on them. Disgusting. Dissapointing. Not enjoyable food at all."

"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I ordered 2 meals for me and my mother. They are stingy with portions of food that is half cooked. After ordering my meal I was accused of stealing immediately after paying and the staff called mall security on me. I couldn't come up with anything other than the color of my skin for the reason. I left the food there and the mall security apologized. The staff did not. Horrible experience please don't eat here. Meal type: Dinner"

"We had a lovely lunch meeting at this restaurant this afternoon. The ambience was fun and casual, with a large screen playing non-stop music videos of African hits. The owner and head chef Kwame seated us with humble greetings and a quick timely offer of menus.The Coconut Shrimp was a tasteful starter with large juicy shrimp covered in crisp shredded coconut batter. With the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, the shrimp was complimented with a bed of mango salsa and a spicy shito pepper mayo sauce.The Fried Yams and Snapper fish was lightly salted and fried to crisp golden perfection. The Stewed Oxtail with Waakye (pronounced watcheh) Rice was a generous serving of comfort and subtle spice. Both entrées had a side of tangy red cabbage coleslaw.The restaurant was beautifully decorated with African art pieces featuring a themed Golden Stool and small stage area which was well incorporated in the space. The bar was large and the colourful bar lighting was a nice touch. The washrooms were very well maintained with the gold motif throughout. This space is well set up for a mid-day lunch to dinner but also easily transitions into a star-worthy lounge/party venue."
