"I refuse to eat vegan or vegetarian just because it 's animal-free. It MUST taste great, and that 's what Chef Kenny 's has done at this restaurant in West Houston.This place delivers animal-free dishes that taste great! We tried 4 dishes: Salt Pepper Shrimp, House Special Noodles, Spicy Kung Pao Chicken, and Korean BBQ Beef; and all four choices were winners. We also went with the black rice instead of classic white rice. A nice change of pace.The one downside I would note is their exterior looks like a boring strip mall hole-in-the-wall joint. Fortunately that ugly exterior gives way to a very pleasant, clean and modern interior. And I especially like the TV screen rotating pictures of their best dishes. You can see some great options on the TV screens and then look for those dishes in the printed menus to get the details.Bottom line, you can get a dead cow, sorry, I mean get a typical steak at a thousand different places in Houston, but if you prefer a great meal without the cruelty, Chef Kenny 's is a great option and a welcome addition to Houston 's restaurant scene."

"Terrible experience. Was lied to about the entire evening. Didn't honor Open Table reservation. Said they "don't have an iPad". Should be able taken off OT. I have never had an experience like this. Will never go again. Would avoid any all costs!"

"I came to a big dinner with about 18 people and a few kids. The food was incredible and the prices were very reasonable. They did a great task to explain what we got, what dishes for our table and recommend wine pairings. They were also very accommodating for the children in our group. They made chicken nuggets and pommes for Kiddo appetite, although there was no children's menu. The timing of food and services was somewhat slow, but it is also expected with a large group and a staff/kitchen that is in training. Overall, it was a great experience and our party was really impressed by the food. Will definitely be back."
