"The restaurant was CLOSED! It went out of business. I had a reservation for 10 people that met there and we had no restaurant to go into.... We called and found out it closed the night before. Too bad they didn't communicate this with open table. I had to take my whole party to another place on the fly essentially causing major chaos for my son's birthday party : VERY DISAPPOINTING"

"This is like the second time the prawns came hella salty, smaller and in reduced portion. It was soo salty I couldnt eat the prawns, corn or potatoes. They forgot to include my lobster tail. The ice cream didnt come with the apple pie. This place has gone down. It wasnt always like this. Im done at this point."

"My son and I were spending the day together and had plans to go to Joes Crab Shack but found this little place along our walk. Was busy so must mean it's good. We both got fish and chips and it was the best ever. Kept looking at the clam chowder bowl but wasn't sure as I've only had it at Pier 39. The owner came out and started chatting with us and explained that they make their own bread so it's always fresh and clam chowder. Definitely will be going back and getting that next time"

"I've always been very satisfied with Rio City love the food and atmosphere. Given my positive past experiences, I booked a table for my daughter and date for a very special Prom night. What a disappointment. They were rushed to the table, server seemed impatient and the food came out very quickly and under done. The steak that was requested well done, came out very rare. It was sent back, only to have it come out still rare! Very poor and disappointing experience. Not sure I would recommend if it's a busy night downtown."
