"My family and I came here a few weeks ago, and absolutely loved it. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, she helped us with questions we had about the food, and was just the perfect server all around. The food was delicious and flavorful, seasoned and cooked beautifully. You get huge portions for the price. You also get bread with a couple of different sauces to start off with, and I fell in love with the orange sauce. I asked if we could purchase it and the waitress said yes! It came in little glass jars, for an excellent price. We were really impressed! The atmosphere is inviting, cool, and comfortable, and there is a lot of art hanging on the walls. The restaurant itself was very clean, as soon as a customer would get done eating and leave, an employee got right on getting the tables cleaned and ready for the next customer. I highly recommend this restaurant, and we're already talking about going back there to try more things."

"Stayed nearby for a week in late July and discovered this spot on night 2. Loved it so much we went back three more times in a week. Superb clam chowder best ever and excellent cod, both fried and stuffed. Very comfortable vibe whether sitting indoorsor outside. Perfect Cape spot for a weeklong vacation. Thinking of vacationing in Dennis next year again just so we can eat atLost Dog."

"When you are placing your order, at Shrimpey on the beach restaurant make sure your food comes with the items that is included and not charged up charge Also, when the waitress brings you water, it should be in a large glass with ice j. Not a baby glass no ice, whether you are sitting on the inside or outside? We should not have to ask for water with ice in a large cup. Kelly, our waitress, came to take our order which was tacos that come with chips any side order is a extra fee. Cool When the food was delivered to the table, that was no chips, the other 2 people in our party also ordered tacos that should also come with chips Kelly was asked, where are the chips that come with the order she said oh I forgot. acted like we was bothering her. She returned with on basket of chips we asked where are the other chip they come with the taco order Kelly, the unfriendly waitress stated if you get a side order then that illuminates the chips(what). She proceeded to say when you order a side now becomes a up charge and eliminates the chips We ask for the manager, so two managers comes over later. We explain the situation of how we placed an order, but did not get. what comes automatically with the order The managers apologized and stated Kelly was in error in quoting an up charge and they were so sorry if we wanted an extra dessert, a donut full of sugar for our inconvenient. Of course , the answer was no. We wanted them to be aware when people placed a food order it should, what is included and not at the waitress discretion to decide what's gonna be a charge and what should be eliminated If you choose to go to a Shrimpys on the beach, make sure you get what you expected to pay for. Hopefully you won't get waitress Kelly who decides what's an up charge and what's gonna be eliminated from your order"

"I am not one to write a bad review or complain, i have even had soda spilled on me by mistake and still gave a great review but the rubbed me the wrong way. If you are under 35 years old do not go here, they will act like they do not want you there. There was five of us and they could not wait for us to leave. The food was good but they messed up a few times. My friend got a chicken parmesan which is his favorite meal and we all tried it because he said it tasted like it was"
