"My teenaged daughter and I met here this morning before a meeting at Bret Harte High School, and each enjoyed our beverages as we shared a staff recommended coffee cake, which, as promised, was delicious. The young lady who took our order was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was impressed with her customer service skills and ability and willingness to look us in the eyes as we discussed options, and as she answered questions about menu items and completed our order... which let's face it, to look someone in the eye with confidence as you speak is a quality that is unfortunately lacking in the people skills of many adults, let alone a large population of younger generations. With that being said, kudos to her parents AND to the manager who hired and trained her to do a public service job with skill, respect, and confidence. Had I paid better attention, I'd have noticed her name tag or asked her name so she would know that she was part of starting our early day together in a positive way!"
