"We ordered the fried fish decent but pricy , fish curry was average and hardly any fish flavour and had ginger drumsticks?! , fish biryani was so tiny it was served on a quarter plate !! and didn't resemble biryani in anyway 60% white rice with some onions and tomatoes and hardly any fish . Very overated place. The fish meal didn't have any fish pieces just some fish curry ?!!! ."

"One of the best dosa in bangalore. This place is a hidden gem in bangalore. Their vada and kharabath are also good but their butter dosa is totally amazing, loaded with butter and crispy, surely one best best dosa i have ever had. Be sure to come early, since this place gets crowded very heavily by 8:30 in the morning."

"This place is a small bow with one or two sitting on the main street, opposite the sick house of ms ramaiah. the best dish of the morning breakfast here is masala dosa reisbad. the dosa is crispy and well roasted to go with slightly seasoned aloo palya coconut cahutney. the reisbad is a tasteful filling. the house delivery is not so great, but to feed in, its good. the idyll are here soft and hygienic recommended for the patients in the sick house."

"This is the best South Indian place in Bangalore hands down. MTR, or Mavalli Tiffin Rooms, named after the popular neighbourhood in which it is located with Lalbagh a stone 's throw away, has been serving lip-smacking food since 1924. They specialise in South Indian cuisine and claim to have invented the rava idli. They also have a trademark dessert ‘Chandrahara’ which is served only on Sundays. Having visitded this place multiple times, we dropped in for a Sunday breakfast. Bonda Soup: Wait, this is nothing like a tomato soup or a clear veg soup that we know. Bonda soup is a South Indian snack to be eaten. Prepared from the same dough that is used to prepare the crispy uddina vada/ medu vada, but this is in the shape and size of a tennis ball. When served, the bonda is placed in a bowl and the soup poured on top of it. The taste is super yumm and very comforting. Chandrahara: Made with maida flour deep fried to perfection and topped with a thick, sweet liquid made from khoa (Rabdi). The Chandrahara is MTR’s trademark dessert served only on Sundays. Started during the 1950s and originally called the 'French Sweet ', it was renamed to Chandrahara after a movie by the same name running in a cinema hall in Bangalore, Gives the word 'RICH ' a whole new meaning! MTR Masala Dosa: The Dosa, served alongside coconut chutney and sambar, was crispier than ever and was also served with a small amount of ghee on top, which was to be poured above the Dosa. The dosa was perfectly crisp and super tasty. Rava Masala Dosa: Made to perfection, crisp and super tasty, served alongside coconut chutney and sambar. The service is quick and the server always in hurry but no-nonsense. Bon Appétit."

"I had my first sushi experience here. Well, I was a little u know scared. But it went well. To be on a safer side we took a torched one (fish N chips). And the cordial waiter helped us to mix the soya to the perfection. Apart from sushi we tried shrimp and lobster dumplings. Lobster dumplings were just amazing. And last but not the least, we surely loved the tender coconut cheesecake. The ambiance was impressive too."
