"Wow, just YUM and so cosy. We loved this restaurant... book ahead as seats are limited although they have a few seats for walk-ins. We were a group of 5 so we booked a Thursday evening table for 7:30 PM (so no 2 hour seating limits).<br>

Loved the menu and we got bits of everything - cauliflower, huge prawns with miso butter, potato bread, steak on the bone, chicken, steak tartare. Everything was so yummy and immaculate. The leftover sourdough ice cream was delicious too although we were mixed on the 3 milks dessert (a 'savoury' dessert). <br>

The wine list is mostly organic stuff so not the usual stuff you'd expect although the riesling was very food. The waiters are very good at guiding diners through the menus and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening."

"Been here for lunch with my friend. We both order from Alex's. I had nasi with rendang (steamed rice with braised beef on coconut curry sauce), even it cooked in Malaysian style but rendang taste good, the beef was succulent and easy bites. For $14 rendang given generous. There so many Asian food stall here, maybe next time will explore more."

"It’s definitely a very tidy way to stay in a $10 per meal type of budget. The sandwich is usually served toasted, and was quite filling when I had it. The chicken and avocado sandwich (pictured), could do with a little more mayo for my taste, but the creamy avo definitely helps with that."

"Delicious Food!Its pretty hard finding a parking spot close by, so we used the valet parking facilities of the hotel across the street for $25.We got there a little earlier than expected, but the team were able to direct up to our seats right away. The team were very friendly. Food was amazing! Had a group of 11 and they were able to cater to everyone's needs.Would definitely come here again!"

"Food and drinks: Were decent, fresh and appetizing. Service: All staff were attentive and friendly Ambience: Dark, and feels like you're eating at someone's house cos of the setting (we ate upstairs). Did ponder if we'd ever get attention for service, but we had no trouble at all."

"Had the Worst chicken pad see ew here. Had 1 mouth full and went back to asked for it to be cooked for longer. When I received it back it was hotter but the noodles were white and had no flavour. Threw the whole thing in the bin. Absolute waste of money! Would not recommend"
